Last week it was announced that Sky was the winner of the eGaming Review Innovation in Casino award for its live casino offering.
The award was won at the eGR B2B 2017 Awards held in London. Sky won the top title for its significant Live Casino growth, including its close collaboration with Playtech on the live product's innovation and accessibility.
The new Live Casino was launched at Playtech's new Latvia based studio in April this year. The state-of-the-art studio includes a digital roulette wheel that provides players with hours of entertainment.
Playtech Comments on Win
Playtech was on hand to comment on the prestigious win enjoyed by Sky through the use of its Live Casino platform.

Playtech Wins Five Industry Awards
Playtech did exceptionally well at the eGR B2B 2017 Awards.
The company won top place in the following categories, besides being shortlisted in many others:
- Platform of the Year
- Multi-channel Supplier of the Year
- Bingo Supplier of the Year
- Poker Software of the Year
- Poker Network of the Year
In 2016, Playtech won three headline awards, namely Poker Network of the Year, Mobile Gaming Software of the Year and Multi-Channel Supplier of the Year.
